PAUL BROKENSHA

From photographs I take on my travels, I do initial sketches then work in acrylic, applied using a variety of implements, including brushes. I enjoy the contrasts, colours, and patterns of the landscape and, increasingly, I am drawn to the beauty of abandoned buildings, boats and machinery, slowly disintegrating and decaying to become part of the landscape itself.
